Brazeau Sour Gas Plant - 178 MM scf/d
The Brazeau Gas Plant included modelling the amine process, Claus process, and steam systems with the main focus of identifying system and component capacities, and potential areas of optimization.
Project details:
Gas Inlet volume of 5,040E3 m3/day (178 MM scf/d)
26% Acid gas at the inlet
Gas composition of 90% H2S & 10% CO2
Lanmark identified gas plant system capacities and made recommendations for optimization of the amine system which resulted in savings of approximately $1 MM annually.

Wildcat Hills Natural Gas Plant - Power Boiler Replacement
Design and selection services were required for two new steam boilers and the full integration to an existing circa 1960’s sour gas plant.
Project details:
Two packaged power boilers rated for 45,360 kg/h (100,000 lb/h) steam production at 1,725 kPag and 250 °C.
Verification that existing boiler feed water systems could meet required demand.
Recommendation for best available control technology for burner design to meet stringent air permit requirements.
The facility remained in operation during design and build.

This project involved project management, process modelling, engineering design, regulations, and procurement for the construction of a 533E3 M3/d (20 MM scf/d) natural gas plant.
